Soccer
The GCCA Griffins completed an exhibition season with the Southwest Christian Athletic Conference for the 2019-2020 season. Our team played home games at the Slippery Rock Baptist Camp, which is located at 130 Elliott Lane, Slippery Rock, Pa 16057.
The GCCA Griffins completed their first soccer season. The Griffins competed as an independent team playing other Christian schools in the area. The team went 3-6 for their first season. The students learned a lot about the game, themselves, and about being a Griffin and shining for Jesus on the soccer field. There were many accomplishments this past year: 6 players scored goals this season, 14 students played soccer for the Griffins, and 13 Griffin goals were scored in one game. Our team members have learned the fundamental skills of soccer and are eager to develop them more this season.
