Our History
Grove City Christian Academy had its start in 1970 when a group of concerned Christian parents met for a year to discuss Christian education. This initial group of parents formed the school in 1971. It was officially incorporated in 1974. It was known as Jubilee Christian School until 2000, when it was renamed Grove City Christian Academy (GCCA). In 2011 Grove City Christian Academy purchased the Washington Elementary School building located at 301 North Madison Ave, Grove City, PA. This facility houses grades Preschool through Eighth grade.
The school has grown in many ways and has been through many changes. The school has met in several locations and has changed in average class size and in grades offered. What has remained constant is the school's dedication not only to strive for academic excellence in every discipline, but also to emphasize a structured integration of our Christian world and life view in all of its studies. We want our children to come to interpret, explain, and apprehend all of life on the basis of God's Word. We want their convictions and beliefs regarding the whole of life (from their views of God and man to their views of society, work, truth, morality, etc.) to be rooted in the Bible.
